Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the construction of Railway Over Bridges/Under Passes in Bari Tola and Sugauli of Bettiah through a virtual ceremony today. The event, attended by dignitaries including Samastipur Railway Officer Avnish Kumar, Chanpatia MLA Umakant Singh, and Nautan MLA Narayan Shah near Bettiah Bari Tola, commenced with a cultural program presented by local school students. Notably, PM Modi also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated the redevelopment of 554 railway stations and 1500 road overbridges/underpasses under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, amounting to Rs 41 thousand crores, as part of the nationwide development initiative.
Addressing the gathering, MLAs Umakant Singh and Narayan Shah lauded PM Modi's leadership, emphasizing the rapid progress witnessed across various sectors under his guidance. They attributed the comprehensive development initiatives in the railways to the Prime Minister's visionary approach, highlighting the significant contributions towards nation-building and infrastructure enhancement.
